Woodland Wellbeing (free course at Kiveton)

Woodland Wellbeing (free course at Kiveton)

21/04/2020 (10:00 am - 1:00 pm)

This free 5 week course is run by The Conservation Volunteers and aims to promote the 5 ways to wellbeing: be active, connect, give something back, take notice and keep learning through a range of guided activities and group discussions. The activities include photography, Nordic walking, foraging, mindfulness, simple yoga and campfire cooking. All the activities will be delivered by qualified leaders and are designed to enhance your sense of wellbeing; no previous experience necessary.

Each session will end with lunch around the campfire so you will need to bring a packed lunch with you but hot drinks and snacks will be provided. We will cook a shared lunch over the campfire on the last day. This course is based outdoors so you will need to be prepared for the British weather, we suggest sturdy footwear, warm layers and a waterproof coat.
