Group aims

Annie’s Store and now the NEW Annie’s Attic sells furniture, good quality second hand adult and children’s clothing, books, toys, games, DVD’s, Videos and bric a brac at reasonable prices.

The shops are open Monday – Saturday and would welcome donations of quality items that you no longer have a use for.

Group activities

Annie’s (Registered Charity No 1063036) helps widows and chilldren in the third world.  The charity was founded byThe Rev Pauline Edwards (Minister of Bangor Pentecostal Church) in 1998 following a visit to India which gave her a burden for the plight of orphans in that country.  The first shop was opened soon after in Bangor High Street (North Wales) and is called ‘Annie’s Orphans.  There are now 11 shops across the UK and now, in addition to its work in India, also supports projects in Romania, the Andaman Islands, Albania, Guatemala, Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan, Iraq and the Philippines.
