Group aims
The Parish Hall is registered with the Charity Commissioner (No 598491) and administered by trustees who form the Management Committee. Trustees comprise representatives from the Parish Council, regular user groups and co-opted members.
Charity Aims
The object of the Charity is to maintain the Parish Hall for the benefit and use of the inhabitants of Aston-cum-Aughton and the neighbourhood for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation.
Day to Day Management
The Managment Committee employs one full and one part-time caretaking staff plus several part-time bar staff. The day to day management and administration requirements are provided by Parish Council officers of Clerk to the Council (Parish Hall Manager), Assistant Clerk (Secretary) and Clerical Assistant. General maintenance of the premise is carried out by Parish Council handypersons.
