Group Aims

Church Army’s vision is for everyone everywhere to encounter God’s love, and be empowered to transform their communities through faith shared in words and action. We work across the British Isles and Ireland in a variety of contexts, helping those most in need – the homeless, the marginalised, young offenders, the lonely, those on disadvantaged housing estates and many others.

Group Activities

Our Sheffield Centre of Mission’s work includes establishing fresh expressions of church for those who are vulnerable or mentally ill; youth clubs; schools’ work; outreach on housing estates; one-to-one mentoring; providing evangelism training to churches and individuals; food banks and practical support and outreach to workers in the city centre.
