    Clifton House, built in 1783, and it’s grounds were formerley the property of the Walker family who ran the Rotherham Ironworks. Known today as Clifton Park & Museum they offer an exciting experience that everyone can enjoy.

    The extensive Museum displays include exhibits such as Nelson the Lion and the breathtaking Rhinoceros Vase, the first ever porcelain vase cast in one piece.  You will also find regularly changing temporary exhibitions which cover a wide range of themes.

    The park provides endless fun for all ages, you can visit the Toddler Play Zone, Giant Tower Slide, Water Splash Area, Amusement Park, Crazy Golf, Tennis, Bowls or just enjoy the variety of gardens or open greenspace.  (Some attractions are charged and have seasonal opening times).

    Throughout the year there are a wide variety of events both inside the Museum and out in the Park that will keep the whole family occupied. For schools there is an extensive range of topics to cover the curriculum.
