Group Aims & Activities:

We rehearse weekly on a Thursday at St, Alban’s Church, Wickersley (7.00pm-8.30pm).

Coryllion Choir currently has 20+ members. However, we are always seeking to grow the choir. We welcome singers of any part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Bass) but at present wish to grow our tenor and bass sections.

To join Coryllion, an informal chat/audition with the musical director is necessary. New members are asked to attend a rehearsal or two before committing to the choir permanently. Some understanding of reading music is an advantage. However, not a requirement for joining the choir.

The choir aim to perform four concerts a year. Some of these concerts are with other musical groups (choirs & orchestras). We often invite soloists to our concerts. We try to include a range of repertoire in our music singing both sacred and secular music.
