Dinnington Resource Centre is a community centre in Dinnington.
It provides many valuable services to the community as well as allowing lots of different groups, clubs and societys to meet and fulfill their aims.
The centre is open from early morning, 7.30am, to late at night. It has a licence until 1am on Friday and Saturday nights.
On Mondays there is the lunch club for over 50s, who get a cooked meal and dessert for £3.50, the sequence dance club and the bridge club.
The Jack and Jill toddler groups meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, followed on alternate Tuesdays by the South Yorkshire Keyboard tea dance or organ recital groups.
Wednesdays are the over 50s gentle exercise and bingo sessions, and Thursday has the Dinnington Local History Group, Dinnington Floral Art Society, Dinnington Floral Arts Society and Dinnington History Group taking turns with their monthly meetings.
Outdoors there are two bowling greens, football pitch where Dinnington Town senior and junior teams play, and cricket pitch used by Dinnington Town junior cricket club.
A permanent term time pre-school has its home at the centre, catering for 30 two to four-year-olds, which gives the place a buzz in the mornings.
