Group aims and activities

The NAS Rotherham Branch launched in October 2008 and is run on a voluntary basis by people affected by autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).

We provide fortnightly bowling evenings for adults with ASDs and their carers, and monthly sessions for families who have children with ASDs. We are in discussions with South Yorkshire Police regarding the launch of an updated version of the Autism Alert Card. We are piloting, jointly with other organisations, the delivery of seminars for families affected by ASDs.

We rely on volunteers to run the branch and welcome applications from people in the local area who would like to help out with our activities.

For more information, please see our website or email us at nasrotherhambranch@nas.org.uk.
