Whether it’s recycling or signing a petition, everyone has their own journey on making a green difference. We aim to give you the tools and motivation to do so in order for our planet to become a better place for future generations through local action.

The Rotherham Climate Action Group’s aim is to have a sustainable future for all, focusing in Rotherham supported by Friends of the Earth. We are still fairly new so are focusing on building our database at the moment before deciding what to work on, and are targeting different audiences as we understand that people have different motives and want our communication to be relevant. This should make more sense if you click on the link below which takes you to sign up to our database.

We are looking for your support on our Nature Recovery Campaign!

We’re set to declare a Nature Emergency for Rotherham on Wednesday 23rd March, and we’re asking you to join us.

Many of us have been urging RMBC to declare a biological or ecological emergency, Sir David Attenborough brilliantly explains why here. We have set up the campaign ‘Nature Recovery Rotherham’, and current partners include Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust, Rotherham Climate Action and residents themselves from Rotherham. Find out more below and please sign up to show your support here.
