About Us

Shiloh is a charity that offers support to adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We offer housing advice, education & training, creative activities and support for health and addictions. We also offer practical help including a healthy breakfast & lunch, laundry services, hairdressing, clothing and bedding. Founded in 1992, our caring team of staff and volunteers work with partner organisations to provide meaningful opportunities that help bring about positive change in the lives of our guests. Shiloh (pronounced Shylow) is named after a town in the Bible, which was referred to as somewhere people could go to for refuge. We offer a safe place where people will be accepted and supported throughout their time with us.

Our Services

Everyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness will receive a warm welcome at Shiloh. We work in partnership with many local organisations, including Rotherham Council, Rush House, Doncaster Gate Surgery, Rotherham Hospital, Rotherham Minster and Crisis to provide the very best services.

Our services include:

Catering & Practical Support Guests can enjoy a healthy hot breakfast and lunch in our spacious dining room, which offers people the chance to socialise if they want to. There is also the opportunity to have a shower, pick up essential toiletries, use the laundry service or pick out some new clothes.

Creative Activities Guests can take part in fun and meaningful activities which help them learn, build their skills and confidence, and make new friends. Activities include; painting, crafts, ceramics, model making, bicycle repairs, cooking and photography.
