The centre is now open to the public for pre-arranged meetings, classes, wakes etc ….
Church services have resumed on Sundays and both Zumba and Energised Fitness classes have returned.
We can hold small meetings of up to 10 people in our Lavender Room and 30 people in our Main Hall.
The business centre is now open for people to take on new offices or virtual offices.
The creation, formation and incorporation of Maltby Community Development Trust in 2003 after an extensive planning process. This identified the need to ‘Create a self sustaining local company capable of delivering economic and social regeneration by the provision of managed and serviced offices and being the facilities centre for varying local community and voluntary groups.’

THE BUSINESS CENTRE
We have around a dozen tenants from various business sectors that use our fully serviced office accommodation in a renovated old Methodist Chapel in Maltby. The offices are fully furnished and equipped with business broadband, telephones and voicemail. Rates, insurance, maintenance and cleaning are all included, and the only additions are for consumables such as telephone calls.

Located close to the centre of Maltby with local facilities, good public transport access and only 2 miles from junction 1 of the M18 with easy access to the M1 and A1(M). Sheffield city centre is only 20 minutes away and there is excellent access to all other major town centres in South Yorkshire allowing the most effective and efficient utilisation of your time.
The Main Hall is a large space for community groups and private individuals. Refurbished to a high standard, it has a separate access point making it available during the evening or at weekends. The Hall is available for children’s parties, weddings, wakes, funeral services and productions.
It has a fully equipped raised stage area suitable for a variety of performances. The sides and rear of the stage have black curtains and the entire room is fitted with blackout blinds. The rear of the room has retractable tiered seating for up to 70 people. The room as a whole can accommodate up to 150 people seated and is fully air conditioned to make sure they can sit comfortably!
An audio visual and stage lighting system is available including a large retractable projector screen and ceiling fixed projector. It’s used by a range of groups from after school clubs, to amateur operatic’s, to keep fit and private family functions. A bar with bar staff is available to hire and our kitchen comes complete with the use of crockery, cutlery and all electrical appliances.
The Lavender Meeting/Training/Conference Suite is a professional meeting room that can seat up to 16. Charges start by the hour from as little as £30 (inc VAT) or take advantage of our full day rate which gives you the use of the room from 10 am until 4.30 pm. Please call for pricing.
Our meeting room is equipped with WiFi and Audio Visual equipment. We offer an on-site kitchen for the duration of your meeting which can be added to the full day package for only £12 (inc VAT). The Wesley Centre as a manned reception every weekday from 9am until 5pm.
Please call for pricing as we offer reduced rates for voluntary/community organisations. Commercial organisations making repeat bookings can also attract discounts.
